FUCHS System: Precast plant you can touch
Columns, trusses, walls and many more system components - if you watch a new commercial building grow upwards, you will see how the elements from the FUCHS system interlock seamlessly. Cranes lift them into the desired position, nimble specialists maneuver them into place and the building grows at lightning speed. Halls, offices, social rooms and service areas are created.
But where do the pre-produced parts come from?
Benno Schuh and Marcel Mühlhofer, Managing Directors at Käpple Qualitätsleister, asked this question at the kick-off for the construction of their new company headquarters in Hilpoltstein. Oswald Hirsch, Managing Director of the general contractor FUCHS Systembaureplied: “From our factory just around the corner!” The clients wanted to see this in person.
They quickly arranged an appointment with the FUCHS Precast Plants South in Röttenbach. “Thanks to our strategically favorable positioning in Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia, we are close to our customers virtually everywhere,” says Marcel Kästner, describing one of the advantages of FUCHS Fertigteilwerke. This not only saves gray energy, but also creates easy contact opportunities.
This is also extremely important to Kästner, who manages the business of FUCHS Fertigteilwerke Süd together with Fabian Wirth. That's why he was happy to welcome the builders from Hilpoltstein in person and first showed them where their prefabricated columns and walls were waiting to be transported to the construction site. The guests clearly enjoyed inspecting their system components on the large outdoor storage area in the loading area of the two gantry cranes.
Regional. In partnership. Sustainable.
They found the sophisticated production technology even more interesting, with which columns, beams, walls, joists and much more are created from steel and concrete in carefully manufactured formwork. Kästner also demonstrated the modern measures for recovering aggregates and process water from concrete residues. The fine cement cake from the chamber filter press is also put to good use in road construction.
The builders and precast plant managers were also of one mind when it came to energy supply. With wood chips from its own waste wood processing and, from spring 2023, a large PV system, Röttenbach is relying on a lot of in-house production and extensive independence. “We at Käpple no longer have any connections or infrastructure for fossil fuels in our new building,” says Benno Schuh.
The FUCHS family of companies, with its precast plant and general contractor, fits perfectly into the Käpple philosophy of regional and partnership-based value creation. Naturally, Kästner was happy to allow FUCHS customers to accompany the delivery of the components by video.

Groundbreaking ceremony for the new company headquarters
01.07.2022 - We break ground on our new headquarters in Hilpoltstein. On 14,000 square meters and with our team of around 200 employees, we are building our new headquarters in Edisonstraße in Hilpoltstein. Our new headquarters comprises 81,000 square meters of enclosed space with 11,000 pallet spaces and therefore offers the long-awaited space for further expansion.

Change of name and succession planning
On 01.06.2022, we changed our name from Käpple Qualitätsleister e.K. to Käpple Qualitätsleister GmbH & Co. KG, including a succession plan. Marcel Mühlhofer, with all his expertise, joins the management team. This addition is an important and correct step into our future.

Käpple takes over Co-Check INDUSTRIE SERVICE
We took over co-check INDUSTRIE SERVICE on 01.01.2021. This means that, in addition to the location in Fürth, we will also be able to significantly expand our existing network and thus penetrate new markets. Our new location, which is in the heart of the metropolitan region and promises to bring us even closer to our customers, is particularly noteworthy. We look forward to the challenges ahead together with our team of experts. We strive to offer our partners and customers the best possible service. This addition is an important and correct step towards our future.

Re-branding & renewal of the Käpple brand image
Together with the marketing agency Claudius Bähr + Friends: https://www.cb-friends.de/ we redefined the Käpple brand in August 2020.
The company name Käpple Qualitätsleister e.K. continues to exist, however the external appearance was completely changed & turned on the head. Next to the tagline: Käpple Perfect to Use also the Internet appearance, Social Media channels & advertising materials were updated.

Research partner "DLR" Rob Academy - Thanks to AI, robots learn how to assemble
Since February 2020, Käpple has officially been a research partner in the consortium team for: Joint project Rob-aKademI - Generation of robust control algorithms for robots from physics simulation using methods of artificial intelligence for highly flexible, multi-variant assembly
The goal of the research project is to support workers in monotonous tasks. Robots offer advantages such as taking over non-ergonomic, dangerous or monotonous tasks and consistent quality in task execution. Moreover, they can be a decisive competitive factor, especially in high-wage countries such as Germany. Thanks to numerous automation potential analyses that the Fraunhofer IPA has already carried out worldwide, the researchers know the exact requirements of the companies and bring this expertise to the project.
Herewith Käpple closes the gap between our flexibility & the implementation of the latest technologies to position ourselves on the market in the long run.

Expansion at OEM's
Extension of our access rights for complaint handling directly at the OEM's on-site.
We are there when you need us. Our flexibility enables us to set up a mobile test center at your customers' premises in the shortest possible time. Thus we ensure the supply at your customer's site & handle the complaint in your name.
Commissioning of our photovoltaic system
In January 2020 our 99 KwP PV system was connected. Since then we have been producing exclusively green electricity.
Exceeding the 100+ employee limit
In 2019, for the first time in the history of Käpple, we crossed the magical threshold of 100 employees. By increasing our crew we are able to react even more flexible to your changes & needs. Test us & learn more.
Bag packaging machine
On 27.09.2019 our bag packaging machine was delivered and installed. The contract filling is a further mainstay of the company Käpple Qualitätsleister. The possibility to pack small parts and set packaging more efficiently (and with recycling materials more environmentally conscious) will enable us to offer our customers a continuously improved service portfolio in the future.

Development of an ESD area & expansion of the production areas
In order to offer our customers further added value, we have converted part of our production areas to ESD-compliant workstations. In order to have the same or even larger capacities we have built an additional 300m² gallery in our production halls.

On Thursday 17.08.2017 we passed our certification according to ISO 9001:2015.
This means that we can continue to offer you the quality standards you have come to expect from us.
We have moved successfully!
Since October 01, 2016 we have found our new home in Allersberg.
Thereby we increase our production and storage areas from 1.200qm to approx. 2.400qm. In the storage area alone, we are increasing our storage capacity from 200 europallets to date, to over 1,000 europallets.
